House Republicans will consider a bill this week aimed at providing more than $14 billion in immediate emergency military assistance to Israel as a standalone bill, splitting it from any Ukraine assistance.

Rep. Mike McCaul, the House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman, told Fox News that he discussed the plan last week with House Speaker Mike Johnson and U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

The US pressured Israel to restore telecommunications to the besieged Gaza Strip, the Washington Post newspaper is reporting.

A Senior US official who spoke to the Washington Post anonymously said that the US “made it clear” communications “had to be turned back on”.

數百名反以色列示威者10月29日因有來自以色列的飛機降落俄羅斯達吉斯坦（Dagestan）首府機場，硬闖機場尋找以色列人和猶太人，機場被迫關閉。當地衞生部稱有約20人受傷，其中2人危殆。
事件發生前，一班從以色列出發的客機，剛抵達吉斯坦首府馬哈奇卡拉（Makhachkala）的馬哈奇卡拉機場（Makhachkala airport）。
保安部隊因暴民硬闖將機場關閉，航班航線須改動，並驅離示威者。

Khan said the court has “active investigations ongoing” in relation to “crimes allegedly committed in Israel on October 7, and also in relation to Gaza and the West Bank in our jurisdiction, going back to 2014”.
