你如果真的無法忍受那個(我覺得啦)實在不怎麼大的 Recovery Partition的話，微軟官方就有提供方法讓你把東西備到 USB隨身碟後再移除 Recovery Partition。
另外，有什麼特別的原因需要分割SSD 嗎? 跟傳統式 HDD不同的是，分割SSD帶來的好處實在不太多...

國外其他使用者的解讀(也有人去Answer Desk問)是 原始，或是從 Recovery Partition裡倒回的 Windows 的算 "preinstalled operation system",但如果幹掉+用其他方式裝，有被判保固無效的風險。總之條款裡並沒有明著擋你裝dual OS就是了，但是要小心Windows 這邊如果搞掛系統, Microsoft 可能不會協助(軟體/作業系統端)
硬體端看來是較不受影響。有的講法是出事後(如果不影響開機)再倒回原本的作業系統。

Yes, you can dual boot the Surface. Microsoft will not assist in the setup or configuration of the Dual boot. The warranty gives you 90 days of Technical support for the Windows 8 image that we have provided on the Surface (preinstalled software).
However, should something happen to the Surface to physically damage it (eg cracked screen, paint chips, dents, etc), you can still have your Surface repaired.
另一篇reddit 上的文章 則是提到另一個Microsoft的客服是說可能會影響硬體保固(不過後面也有人提到解法，只要可開機，倒回舊作業系統...)
