Not quite sure if we are on the same page. I like simplicity and steel.
Here is my recent project.

Golden fixie (fixed gear, FG, pista)

Rear hub and cog

Front hub and old time "quick release"

Handle bar with leather stitched on cover.

Wooden rim made by CB Italia in Italy.

WOW! I am impressed. The gold is really outstanding, and the wooden rim is awesome!

Make it a singlespeed! We need more singlespeeders in Taiwan! Besides the fun factor, the training benefits are incredible for beginners and advance riders.

I wonder if this trend will ever catch on like North America?

單速車也有許多種, 雖然這台是土坡車, 不過最近還滿想要單速的CX或者29er車種,

因為沒有變速系統, 必須強迫自己維持速度和節奏,

可以更強力的踩踏以及不用擔心零件損壞等等都是單速車的好處,

其實騎單速車越野連路線的選擇都會受到影響,
