小弟有點想試試看到國外工作，本身是學資訊工程，目前也是在百大企業當SA，上星期有看到商周的文章（文章出處
有想過除了外語能力跟專業之外，還有什麼是必需要的，或是要怎麼找才能到國外工作？
麻煩有經驗的前輩能提供一下建議（例如到美國或是日本，中國就不必了，因為之前有去過中國工作過）

2. 主動積極, 厚臉皮 (拼命丟履歷去試)
3. 別人沒有的專長
NICE TO HAVE
1. 所欲工作地的居留權 (資訊人材到處是, 為什麼要請個外國人, 除非是有當地居留權, 特別優秀, 有特殊專長, 或者是同樣的工作, 你願意拿得比別人少的薪水)
2. 推薦人 (如果有不錯的推薦人也會有幫助)

2. 這世界上學系統程式開發的人太多了, 不要說別的, 印度就一堆程度能力都不錯, 且便宜的工程師, 不是說程式設計師賺不到大錢, 而是在眾多的程式設計人員, 如何證明自己的能力.

* Ability to deliver a smooth presentation and public speaking
* Culture (food, sports, jokes...etc)
* Great interview skills (good companies usually have more than one interview with many people asking you all types of questions)
* Humor (increase your likability)---specially true in USA

* Not sure about this one as you will not get the interview opportunity just because you apply the job. It has to be a good match. Therefore, it depends.
3. 別人沒有的專長
* Domain knowledge (e.g. for healthcare software needs to know many jargon and business related to the industry) This will be a big plus.
* Technical knowledge/experience that fits the position (e.g. .NET/C#/MS SQL for Microsoft shops while Java/Oracle/Linux for non-MS shops)
NICE TO HAVE

* With PR, it will increase your odds as some companies simply do not accept people who need H1B visa. So there will be more jobs you can apply.
2. 推薦人 (如果有不錯的推薦人也會有幫助)
* If you know someone in the company which you want to apply, YES, it would be helpful. Usually, you will get a walk-in interview if a employee submits your resume comparing you apply the same job online which will get a phone-screen only.
3. A USA degree --- nice to have as the employer knows the school you attend instead of a school they never heard of.
4. Have been worked for a well-known international company ---again, nice to have but not required.
