Trail Blazers get：Trae Young。
Hawks get：Jerami Grant、Robert Williams III。

Shams: Trae Young and Hawks know he doesn't fit with team anymore, his days in Atlanta are near an end。

Sources: Hawks trading Trae Young to Wizards for McCollum, Kispert。

Jalen Johnson （29

Okongwu (mouth) is questionable for Thursday's game against Utah。

Hawks (續約)：CJ McCollum agree to a one-year, $21 million contract extension

McCollum helped the Hawks win 18 of 20 games during one late-season surge that boosted Atlanta to a playoff spot.

The 13-year veteran averaged 18.7 points per game while shooting 35.7% from 3 in 41 games with the Hawks.

Shams Charania: Atlanta Hawks guard CJ McCollum has agreed to a one-year, $21 million contract extension with the franchise, plus a trade kicker, agent Sam Goldfeder of Excel Sports Management tells ESPN.

McCollum has been eligible for an extension until June 30 and commits to a new deal that keeps him out of free agency.contract extension with the franchise, plus a trade kicker, agent Sam Goldfeder of Excel Sports Management tells ESPN.

Hawks (防守升級)：Thunder send Dort to Hawks in 3-team trade

Atlanta Hawks get: G Luguentz Dort, G Ryan Nembhard
Dallas Mavericks get: F Zaccharie Risacher
Oklahoma City Thunder get: Three future second-round picks

Jonathan Kuminga，

Hawks (裁員)：Hawks waive Devin Carter

Michael Scotto: The Atlanta Hawks have waived Devin Carter, league sources told @hoopshype . The 24-year-old guard averaged 8.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 18.4 minutes during 38 games played for the Sacramento Kings last season.（x.com）

Devin Carter，On June 30, 2026, Carter and a 2033 second-round pick were traded to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for the draft rights to Alpha Kaba.

Celtics have shown interest in Devin Carter，根據 Jake Fischer: The Boston Celtics have shown interest in signing Devin Carter, sources say, once the Providence product clears waiver。（x.com）

（Sep. 13, 2026, 8:07 PM ）：Devin Carter an option for Heat ?

The Heat have both the salary-cap and roster-space wherewithal to make a move for the son of former Heat guard and assistant coach Anthony Carter. （South Florida Sun-Sentinel）

Third Apron: The Hawks will incur a $5.2 million dead cap hit for this season and decline his $7.4 million team option for next season. Devin Carter can sign with any team except the Kings. He still has two years of two-way eligibility remaining.
（x.com）

Henri Veesaar

The Atlanta Hawks are trading Buddy Hield, Ryan Nembhard and cash considerations to the Charlotte Hornets for Dorian Finney-Smith, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania on Tuesday

Atlanta Hawks rookie center Henri Veesaar is expected to miss the 2026-27 season after tearing the ACL in his right knee.

Hawks ( R.I.P )：奪隊史唯冠、雙 MVP的傳奇 Bob Pettit 辭世

NEW ORLEANS -- Bob Pettit, an imposing scorer and rebounder for the St. Louis Hawks and winner of the NBA's first MVP award in 1956, has died. He was 93. Bob Pettit

Pettit's alma mater, LSU, announced Thursday that he died a day earlier. The university did not provide a cause of death.

Pettit was an All-American at LSU before going on to the NBA, where he was an All-Star for each of his 11 seasons, all with the Hawks. He led them to the 1958 championship over the mighty Boston Celtics, the Hawks' lone title.

He was also the NBA MVP in 1959 and was the MVP of the All-Star Game four times, an achievement matched only by Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant.

No. 9 retired by Atlanta Hawks，老鷹隊是自 1968 年才搬到亞特蘭大。

NBA champion (1958)
2× NBA Most Valuable Player (1956, 1959)
11× NBA All-Star (1955–1965)
4× NBA All-Star Game MVP (1956, 1958, 1959[a], 1962)
10× All-NBA First Team (1955–1964)
All-NBA Second Team (1965)
NBA Rookie of the Year (1955)
2× NBA scoring champion (1956, 1959)
NBA rebounding leader (1956)

He retired after the 1964-65 season with career averages of 26.4 points and 16.2 rebounds. At that time, he was the NBA's career leader in points (20,880) and second in rebounds (12,849).
