Free agent forward/center Moe Wagner has agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal to return to the Orlando Magic, sources told ESPN.

Wagner's agent, Jason Glushon, reached the new contract with Magic executives on Friday.

The Magic had declined Wagner's $11 million team option earlier this summer, making him a free agent.

Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero agreed to a five-year, $239 million maximum rookie contract extension that could reach $287 million, Mike Miller of LIFT Sports Management told ESPN on Monday.

Miller said Banchero's new deal includes triggers to elevate the base salary to the supermax should the Magic franchise cornerstone make either an All-NBA team or earn MVP or Defensive Player of the Year honors next season.

Banchero 在下一季的確該挑戰一個年度 MVP，尤其是在東區眾球星掛傷號的這一年，這對他來說，是絕佳的機會。

The Magic now have their core of Banchero, Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs under contract for the next five years as well as newly acquired Desmond Bane under contract through the 2028-29 season.

不簡單，走過傷病潮，除了先發的五大主力：P. Banchero、F. Wagner、W. Carter Jr.、D. Bane 與 J. Suggs，又選進了幾名了不起的年輕人，這季的魔術相當的令人期待！

我指的五少，有以下，其中不乏球二代與國際新星。

（1）21 歲的 Anthony Black（6' 7" 高控衛），2023: Rd 1, Pk 6 (ORL)。
（2）24 歲的 Tristan da Silva（6' 8" 3D前鋒），2024: Rd 1, Pk 18 (ORL)。
（3）22 歲的 Jett Howard ( 6' 6" 搖擺人），2023: Rd 1, Pk 11 (ORL)。
（4）19 歲的 Jase Richardson （ 6' 3" 雙能衛），2025: Rd 1, Pk 25 (ORL)。
（5）20 歲的 Noah Penda （ 6' 7" 強力前鋒），2025: Rd 2, Pk 32 (BOS)。

Jett Howard 與 Jase Richardson 是球星二代，而 Tristan da Silva 是德國新星，Noah Penda 也是法國的潛力年輕新秀。

魔術隊整體而言，非常的幼齒，在其他球隊的中生代，在這裡就是資深，像是本季簽下的 29 歲控衛 Tyus Jones ；曾受重傷的28 歲中前鋒 Jonathan Isaac 與28 歲的替補中鋒 Moritz Wagner。

雖說是魔術有新的五少，但陣中的頭號王牌 Paolo Banchero 其實也才 22 歲，本季才要進入職業的第 4 個賽季而已。只比他小 1 歲，21 歲的 Anthony Black 這兩季就曾多次上先發，但魔術交易來 27 歲的 Desmond Bane，使得他得繼續蹲板凳第二陣容奮鬥。

最令魔術高層興奮的，應該是從夏季聯賽，再到季前賽都較突出的 Jase Richardson。不論是球商或是外線把握率，都優於其他新秀。Jase Richardson 是魔術撿到的寶，落到第 25 順位，魔術隊真的是幸運。

Magic's Bane tossed after firing ball at Okongwu

魔術隊至今開季低迷，在今日的比賽中，才從灰熊隊轉來的 Bane 竟在一次退防中，失控，不僅硬拉下要快攻擊的 Okongwu，還將落在空中的，往 Okongwu 的臉上拍。此舉，當然引起裁判的注意，於是，裁判將 Bane 判出場。

後續應該會有罰款，至於會不會禁賽，我覺得沒那麼嚴重。

這樣的事情，如果是發生Bane還在灰熊隊的時候，我不會覺得有甚麼大驚小怪的。我驚訝的是，Bane 都已經離開了是非之地，怎麼還這樣 ?
