哈登此役3分線10投0中追平生涯最慘，上一次要追朔到他的菜鳥年，09-10球季的11月22日，當時效力雷霆的他對湖人3分也是10投0中，全場投籃命中率15投2中，跟此役的17投3中表現半斤八兩。
哈登唯一值得稱讚的便是8罰8中。助攻僅2次也是自11月30日傷癒歸隊後的最低紀錄，另外還有5次失誤，上場時間超過40分鐘僅拿14分，本季最慘。
哈登被ESPN評為戰犯，「留落腮鬍的這位，打出了本季最糟的比賽。」火箭全隊3分球31投9中，前11投全部落空，最後雖有機會逆轉，但關鍵球無法把握，加上失誤過多，仍無法擺脫落後困境，轉播單位多次照到場邊西裝筆挺的林書豪與帕森斯，失望表情全顯現在2人臉上。
「我們續航力不足。」哈登表示，「我們進攻端表現不好，球的運轉也不好，但他們(太陽)都做得很好。」

(On what went wrong tonight) “Just didn’t have enough energy. We didn’t make shots on the offensive end or move the basketball and they did.”
