An MRI on Rudy Gobert (knee) revealed a hyperextension and bone bruise in his left knee, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical. This is good news for Gobert and he has no structural damage. However, a knee bone bruise usually results in a multiple-game absence, so Gobert should be considered doubtful for Game 2 on Tuesday for now. Obviously the Jazz have to be feeling a lot better with this news and earning a big win on Saturday despite Gobert going down on the first play. If Gobert can't play, Derrick Favors, Jeff Withey and Joe Johnson figure to help out the most.
