Monk scores 33, hits winning free throw as Kings top Nuggets。

— Malik Monk scored 33 points, including the tiebreaking free throw with 0.7 seconds left, and the Sacramento Kings came back from down 19 points late in the third quarter to beat the Denver Nuggets 127-126 on Wednesday night.

De’Aaron Fox had 31 points and 13 assists, while Domantas Sabonis returned to the lineup with 31 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. The Kings had lost three of four at home.

LOS ANGELES -- — Sacramento coach Mike Brown has been lauding his team's depth all season. On Wednesday night the Kings showed it with one of their top players sidelined.

Despite Domantas Sabonis being out with an illness, the Kings extended their winning streak to five with a 116-111 victory behind 32 points from De’Aaron Fox.

眾多媒體大多預料國王在新球季會更上一層樓，從轉播場次增加就可以窺知一二。

國王招牌球星，非 Domantas Sabonis 與 De'Aaron Fox 莫屬。然而，後場早已暴滿，於是尋覓 Sabonis 的重要替補，就變成了重要的課題。這個男人，會是 Javale McGee 嗎？

Sabonis 在國王隊的重要性不可言喻，應是僅次於 Nikola Jokic 的全能中鋒，年年入選全明星賽的巨星。國王隊當然得找到冠軍隊等級的中鋒來協助他。從另一個角度看，國王也在思考，Sabonis 不場上時，該如何延續國王隊的禁區優勢？經驗老道且條件足夠的 McGee 當然是好人選。

好，倘若 McGee 有夠好，獨行俠為何放他走？結論很可能就是傳言的，是 Jason Kidd 不愛用所導致的。獨行俠的戰法，中鋒面的使用的確很不一樣，Christian Wood 便也是受害者之一。

但 Mike Brown 可不會這麼想，他雖也強調後衛的攻勢，但禁區的作用也會盤算，也是重視禁區教練。從早期騎士隊時的大 Z，到湖人時期的 Andrew Bynum，都是有一定比例的中鋒戰術。

Kings convert Folsom native Jordan Ford to two-way contract，預計在發展聯盟與 NBA 兩邊跑。

Ford averaged 14.7 points, 4.8 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 26.1 minutes per game last season with the Stockton Kings, Sacramento's G-League affiliate. His shot an impressive 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3-point range and 81 percent from the free-throw line.

本季第六人熱門，Monk 要休 4-6 weeks，這對目前暫居西區老八的國王，是相當大的影響了。

誰能頂上來？萬一戰力失橫，搞不好勇士和火箭都爬上了，變成國王跌出前 10 。

Huerter will undergo season-ending left shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum but is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.換句話說，Huerter 也不能打了。

後場陣容上，Keon Ellis 早是假先發，做為 Malik Monk 的影子。Keon Ellis 其實偶有佳作，只是，未能如 Monk 一般大殺四方。
