簡單，也不簡單，Jaylen Brown 要承擔更多，試圖走出舒適圈，體驗過去的幾年 Jayson Tatum 在做的事。Derrick White 也能體驗到被包挾的滋味了。

不確定接下來的 Anfernee Simons 會帶來怎樣的營響力，假如，Mazzulla 能把他用得很順暢，或許，塞爾蒂克仍有競爭力的。

這太有趣了，Jayson Tatum 因傷，還能兼職。

去年的 NCAA賽季，靠著 Cooper Flagg、Kon Knueppel 與 Khaman Maluach 等大一新鮮人，再加上有大三 Tyrese Proctor 與大五的 Sion James 創造了一個不可思議的賽季。只可惜，只差 2 步之遙，杜克大學在四強賽輸給了休士頓大學。

Jayson Tatum 這大學長在賽季的復健治療，也算是一種重生，如果能藉由大學籃球的激情，再次帶給他新的能量，說不定會意外的收獲。

Duke men's basketball head coach Jon Scheyer announced Tuesday the creation of a groundbreaking new opportunity within the men's basketball program and within college basketball — Chief Basketball Officer. NBA Champion and former Blue Devil standout Jayson Tatum has been named to this first-of-its-kind responsibility.

As Chief Basketball Officer, Tatum will volunteer his time as a special advisor to Scheyer and the Duke program, bringing championship-level insight and professional basketball experience to player development, leadership, and life as an elite athlete.

Tatum, who starred for the Blue Devils in 2016–17 before launching a decorated NBA career, will leverage the lessons he first learned in Durham to help prepare current Blue Devils for success both on and off the court.

塞爾蒂克自 Tatum 加入後，這 8 季一共拿到了 421 勝，中間雖有起浮，但都沒再有拿到了前 5 順位，甚至是樂透區選秀權的機會。會不會，就在 Tatum 休息的這一季，取得了好一點的選秀籤呢？

何不直接坦？

戰力本就吃緊的綠衫軍，新成員與菜鳥也都沒即時頂上戰力。當前塞爾蒂克最大的問題，在於團隊默契欠佳，上季全隊有每場 26 次的助攻，前 3 戰掉到只剩 17 次。

其次就是球員失常，上季的最佳第六人 P. Pritchard，三分命中率，竟只有 18.2%（1.3-7.3），鐵到爆。原本就知道要被交易掉的 A. Simons，場均得分也比上季一口氣掉了 7 分之多。

當然，還包含了禁區戰力大減，全隊的籃板數也下滑。

打也打不贏，明年又有三大戰將可以搶，綠衫軍到底是不是要放棄這個賽季呢？
