Several obstacles to a deal remain, most notably the fact that the Warriors’ interest in Monk appears to be quite muted. His contract is the primary issue, as he has a player option for the 2027-28 season worth $21.5 million that does not fit with the Warriors’ future flexibility plans.

During a recent episode of the "Dubs Talk" podcast, Warriors insider Monte Poole noted that if Melton is healthy and cleared to play, he should partner with Stephen Curry in Golden State's backcourt. Melton's defense makes him a logical partner next to Curry, especially as Melton can also work as a tertiary ball-handler and shot creator for Kerr's team.

苦命劇場應該是告一個段落了，整體來說，這應該是現有陣容勇士隊奪冠的最後一次機會，也就是 Stephen Curry 生涯最後一次奪冠的希望。這非常的殘酷，但是，沒有人不想看 Stephen Curry ，明知道他已經老了。

勇士隊爭冠的 5 名大咖，合約都是到 2026-27 賽季，如 Stephen Curry ( 37 歲 )、Jimmy Butler ( 36 歲 )、Draymond Green ( 35 歲 )、Al Horford ( 39 歲 ) 和今天簽約的 Jonathan Kuminga 都是如此。明年，老人又更老，難道會更有利於爭冠 ? 我的感想是，勇士隊想贏得總冠軍的希望十分渺茫，而且，不必到兩年，只要今年的化學變化豈不了效果，這支陣容就會瓦解。為了戰績不佳，最有可能拿來開刀解套的，很可能就是 Kuminga 或 Draymond Green。

就我對 NBA 的了解與猜想，是 Stephen Curry 勸退勇士團隊讓步，讓 Kuminga 的經營團隊願意簽下合約，讓 Stephen Curry 最後的傳說，得以延續到新的篇章。勇士隊不能用正常的方法來奪冠，他們需要神話般的表現，瘋狂的戰術與外線。

休賽季期間備受矚目的庫明加（Jonathan Kuminga）續約案如今已塵埃落定，這位23歲的勇士前鋒也在近期接受採訪時透露，促使他留隊的最大原因，不是別人，正是身邊的好戰友的關心，包括像是勇士三巨頭柯瑞（Stephen Curry）、巴特勒（Jimmy Butler III）與格林（Draymond Green）。

毫無疑問的，Kuminga 最大的回饋，就是拿到了最佳第六人的競選門票。以現有的陣容，Steve Kerr 八成是不會選擇讓 Kuminga 先發，於是，在有限的時間內，Kuminga 就是要衝，打到第四節的時候，還能被放在球場上。

如果 Kuminga 能達到了場均 18 分、7 籃板，三分命中率有 38%，要拿到年度第六人是很有機會的。
