The Rockets have turned down a deal that would send Dwight Howard to the Charlotte Hornets, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.
Isola reports that the Rockets would have received Al Jefferson and Spencer Hawes in return for Howard, according to league sources. The Rockets are trying to make a Howard deal work so we'll likely have more updates on him before the trade deadline, but it doesn't look like he's headed to Charlotte.
