The Wolves are reportedly targeting Josh Richardson, Bam Adebayo and a protected 2019 first-round pick in trade talks with the Heat centered on Jimmy Butler.
Minnesota is also eager to unload Gorgui Dieng, who still has $48 million on his contract. The Heat have been "pushing the Minnesota Timberwolves to accept a revised trade offer" on Wednesday, but no deal was imminent as of Wednesday night. The Rockets have also been "aggressive" in pursuit of Butler, but most of the focus is centered on talks with Miami. If no deal is reached, Tom Thibodeau still wants Jimmy to re-join the team, and Butler reportedly doesn't plan to sit out games if he's healthy. The standoff continues.
