國際上英國的阻擾，阿根廷想要買到新武器是有點難度，還好阿根廷周圍沒啥敵人，除了福克蘭的英國人。

由於阿根廷境內「嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎」（武漢肺炎）疫情肆虐，嚴重影響其經濟狀況，南韓航太（KAI）已推遲將 FA-50 輕型戰鬥攻擊機出口至該國的計畫。
何時恢復難確定
報導引述不具名的 KAI 官員表示，由於阿根廷爆發武漢肺炎疫情，對該國經濟造成不利影響，「恐無暇顧及戰機採購預算」，故 KAI 決定擱置對阿根廷出口 FA-50 的計畫，且難以確定何時恢復。
阿根廷空軍老舊的 幻象3型（Mirage III）和幻象5型（Mirage V）已於2015年退役，主力戰機僅存由機齡近 50年的美陸戰隊二手 A-4M 攻擊機升級為 A-4AR。
為填補戰力空缺，阿根廷空軍評估捷克 L-159 ALCA 戰鬥教練機、義大利 M-346FT 戰鬥教練機、二手的瑞典JAS-39「獅鷲」等多款戰機，最後於 2019年7月傳出 FA-50 得標的消息，但相關談判尚未完成，至今仍未簽署正式合約。

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) has said its plans to re-engage with Argentina over the potential export of FA-50 Fighting Eagle light attack aircraft have been delayed as a result of of Covid-19.
A KAI official was quoted by local media news agencies as saying that the coronavirus pandemic has had an adverse effect on Argentina's economy and that its bid to sell FA-50s to the country had been delayed indefinitely.
"It [will be] difficult for Argentina to spend its defence budget [on] fighter jets when it is experiencing difficulties due to the virus spread," a KAI official was quoted as saying.
