換主機板後，Palm tx無法與電腦同步

老姊的IBM筆電故障換了主機板後，Palm tx無法與電腦同步，她裝的是英文XP PRO，英文PALM DESKTOP 4.14E，所得到的錯誤訊息如下：

hotsync manager was unable to initialize the tcp/ip connection socket. please check your network configuration from the windows control panel. make sure you have a tcp/ip network component installed and configured correctly

她會連美國報紙網站下載文章(好像叫AVANTGO)，現在不能跟電腦同步，也不能上網同步（但她還是可以上網跟我聊天啊），連藍芽也不行，不知問題可能出在哪兒呢？謝謝大家熱心的回答！
