I tried the first generation FX35 and the second generation FX35 9 years ago before I bought my wife's M35X. I think the first generation was more nimble/stable/stiff/direct than the second generation.
Since I felt a bit disappointed on the second generation FX, I decided to buy a M35X instead. As a result, I own two sedans 2007 G35S and 2010 M35X at the same time and no SUV...

Only one reason that I havn't own the second generation FX(S51) because it's more expensive than the first generation FX(S50) in Taiwan now🤣🤣🤣
Just like you said, S50 is a very stable car, maybe that's why I'm still keep it till now♥️
