不過, Ariel 比 Exige 還低, 上次 Elise 被一台並排開著的喜美換線擦到. 他居然說 "對不起, 我真的沒看到你" orz

我的輪胎的扁平比是45.就因為坑洞的關係,爆了3條胎了.

i did check out Ariel Atom's official website a while ago, but i found that here in the states they don't use Honda engines!!!!

however, it shouldn't be that hard to special request since every one of them is special made to order, therefore, replacing with a K20A should be easy!! 流口水

i also add up the options i want, but it's gonna cost as much as $60000, which is also an Exige~

btw, where r u located in the states? it shouldn't cost that much to replace 2 A048!!

check out tirerack.com, it's about $470 + shipping ($22 to So Cal) + $40~$60 mount & balance

I would take the Base Package with 205hp Ecotec with Supercharged, still justifiable for a fun car at 41,955.

I saw that post, too!! That was a disaster!! I saw exactly same thing on a 350Z in a Nissan dealer as well!!

However that won't happen if you just need to change the tires!! Just let you know you are paying way too much for the tires along unless you don't care!!

I thought Exige starts from $59890

我家的LOTUS 也都是只給我認識的師父修..其他修車師父換換機油就好雖然LOTUS 車子的結構簡單但是畢竟不少人真的沒摸過這種車拆零件會但是要他們裝上去問題就大條了發生上面的情形還真是有趣說

晚點跟朋友說一下, 讓他注意免的發生慘劇...國外EXIGE還真便宜阿在台灣我朋友買的那台就要360萬好貴喔

Lotus 的原廠技工每小時工錢 $150. 前一陣子全美的 Lotus OEM 的 A048 (LTS) 賣到缺貨, 除了 dealer 那都沒的買, 這次換輪胎前沒有先到 sector111.com 和 tirerack.com 倒是失算, 不過... 輪胎前幾天被老婆開到鐵絲都跑出來, 也沒時間等. 輪胎不打稅前 295.54 x 2 = 591.08 + $40 mount and balance 加上＄5.94 的小東西＝ 637.02, dealer 沒收工錢. 和你所說的＄470+22 shipping + 40 mounting = 532.02. $105 塊的差價雖然多但我當買個保險求心安.

我上一篇說的 $41,955 指的是 Ariel Atom.

如果你要買Base Exige, 同樣引擎還真的不如買 Elise, 那天在 Dealer 看到2台 Exige S (Supercharger) 流口水

, 每台都 mark up 大約 3k, 標價都在 70k 上下. orz

那個 Elise 掉下來的車主後來換了 2007 的 Exige S.

我維修電腦零件手冊跟維修手冊全都買了...零件也都是自己跟英國人買...當初買車時就知道什麼事都要自己來哈哈可是就是因為這樣才有玩車的快樂

oh yah? that's so werid cos u don't really need the car that high just to change tires!! all they need is a jack!! and there are specific area u jack up Elise, aren't there? = =|||

I still don't think it's the prob of changing tires, it just happened that owner took his car to a horrible shop!!

sry I misunderstand ur previous post! I won't consider the US Ariel model after I found out they r not using Honda engines!!

but if there is a way that I can buy one with K20A anyhow, gosh, it will just like u said, wat else can I buy?! Muahahahaha!! 流口水

I'm very picky about things I like on the car! For an Exige, I would consider the base model cos the money for OEM sport package, LSD, I can probabaly invest those in a better way I like the car on tracks & canyons! also that I'm anti leather seats on sports cars, so I don't want touring package at all~ unless I have no choice like S2000, which I will take those out eventually anyways!

I like Exige a lot more cos it's hardtop & a lot better aero dynamiclly for such a light car, so I feel like paying more just making it an even better monster!! Exige S is very nice with lots more hp but 1 I'm anti-supercharge, hate the meow meow sound, lol 2. I'm not a big fan of hp!

btw, if ur wife don't go to tracks a lot, maybe a set of high performance street tires will suit her better & save u even more money at the same time?!
