小弟的x50v安裝tomtom 2004 後~不知道為何~一直無法使用路徑規劃的功能(plan A to B)~一設定目的地後~tomtom程式就自動結束~請問這樣的問題是tomtom和其他軟體相衝或是tomtom 2004不能在x50v上使用?請大大們指點一二~謝謝~!

Try set Region as English. Also Tomtom 2004 has some problem running on Axim X50v. Like when u connecting BT GPS and exit TOMTOM, your PDA will be freeze around 1 mins. Right now I'm using TomTom 5, everyting is stable.

No need to change the region setting. The problem is due to cannot display the "degree" symbol in the summary page correctly (probably incorrect unicode in their source code.)

A workaround is to do the following in TT:

1. Change perferences > Set Units

2. On the GPS position display page, DON'T choose the first one. (either the 2nd or the 3rd one is ok)

It works on my Chinese Dopod 818 w/ TT 2005 loading w/ TT 2004 USA map

The route it provide is not very optimize sometime (but a lot better than TT 2.24 I used before). Hopefully, it will get some improvement for **Official*** TT 5 for USA.

I think TomTom has the best user interface (very good looking and very easy to use) but their voice prompt and route algorithm is so so.

Personally, I still prefer Routis 2 for car navigation for it's detail in voice prompt and routing. Although it's looks ugly and harder to use.
