Since our initial launch of XdaII last November, O2 has continued to make a number of improvements to softwares. We would like to invite our XdaII users to upgrade their devices to the latest software versions:
For English ROM
ROM version: 1.60.00 WWE
Radio version: 1.08.00
ExtROM version: 1.60.44
MMS Client: 1.6.0.8
For Chinese ROM
ROM version: 1.52.00 CHT
Radio version: 1.08.00
ExtROM version: 1.52.118
MMS Client: 1.6.0.8
In addition, a separately installable software - Intent Java ™ MIDlet Manager will be available for you to install to run Java applications on the Pocket PC platform. This upgrade is applicable to Xda II users in Asia countries who have successfully registered their devices with us. You may request the softwares upgrade from this site. The English / Chinese software upgrade will be offered to you based on the language version of the ROM software on the Xda II at the time of your purchase. Please note that upgrading from English to Chinese or vice versa is restricted by Microsoft ™ licencing.

2. 到目前為止使用1.72WWE 沒什麼問題. . 但國外討論區也有一些人反應 1.72WWE 使他們的機器會自動hardreset. 我個人覺得 imate 1.72WWE 和 O2 1.60WWE 沒有明顯的差異.
3. 1.72WWE 要downgrade到舊版本會有一些麻煩, 不過都有解決的方法. 只要有ROM檔案和適合的工具, 不同公司、語系和版本都可以換來換去. 例如我自己從出廠的 1.50CHT, 玩到T-mobile 1.60WWE, O2 1.52CHT, O2 1.60WWE, i-mate 1.72WWE.......
