About the Samsung Tablet

Hi,
I want to buy a tablet of Samsung
I have a ipod touch
but the screen is too small to me
and I want to change to a bigger one
so i decide to buy a Samsung tablet.

There are two tablet I am considering
1.Samsung note 10.1
2.Samsung Tab2 10.1

The most important thing is
"I want to make sure it can use WHATSAPP"
My mobile phone is not smartphone
and most of my friends are using smartphone
so I want to buy a tablet and Whatsapp with them

I know Tab2 10.1 can use whatsapp on it,
I don't have to JB or do other things to make it works

My problem is
"Can I use whatsapp on the Note 10.1"
If yes, can anyone show me how to use it?
If no, then I think I will just buy Tab2
But how can I download whatsapp on tab2?

My friends have a note 10.1
but there is no android market on that
so is there android app store on Tab2?
If no, how can I download Whatsapp?
