Hi everyone,
I got a viewpad 10e recently for repairs and customer demanded root and market installation. For 3-4 days i've been digging xda and other forums for a neat root and market solution. I came across a russian site, that had noob proof guide to root and install android market on this device easily. So, what information is taken again given back to community. I really don't remember where i got these files cause i was browsing like 30 tabs at the same time searching for information. If you know the source, let me know and i'll give credit to where its due.
Briefly with the help of this guide, you'll root your Viewpad 10E tablet running Android 4.0.3 and Install android market.
Download the package, ( contains: root script, market installer script and usb drivers.
Download unlockroot from their official website.
1- Go to settings > developer settings > set usb debugging ON
(don't forget that each time the device restarts, you'll have to turn on USB debugging)
2- Connect tablet to pc and install drivers from the package.
3- Extract Adb1.rar and run removesh.bat script ( 3-4 times )
4- Run unlockroot and press root, wait until it finishes the root process and restarts the tablet.
5- Extract marketics.rar and run install.bat, wait until it finishes and restart the device.
6- Profit ! You have your Viewpad 10E rooted and installed Android Market.
