分享一雙很特別的鞋子

Herring "Wasdale"

製造商是英國有名的Joseph CHEANEY & Sons, 在 Northampton製造,
(Northampton是英國具有歷史的高級手工鞋產地, C&J, Grenson, Church's 都有據點)

它擁有保守的線條以及強軔扎實的品質,
是一雙耐操程度可以跟高級工作靴比擬的半正式休閒鞋
全皮手工縫製, 鞋底是粗獷Commando rubber sole, 可以應付不同狀況的路面

這雙鞋最特別之處在於它採取 Veldtschoen construction, (傳統的防水製鞋技術)
不同於Norwegian construct, Veldtschoen是將welt縫紉於leather upper之下,
而且鞋舌是完全跟鞋子本體縫在一起
其防水能力較一般Welt construct高出許多.
