How To Fix Cydia Tweks Not Working On iOS 11 & 12

Users who have jailbroken their iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, 8, 7 Plus/7, 6S with Electra Jailbreak 1.0.4 version are facing issues with Cydia Tweaks. Some tweaks simply do not show up in Settings app and some do not even open. This tutorial will provide you the solutions to these issues.

Saurik is still working to get Cydia updated for iOS 11 along with Substrate. As a result, the tweaks you installed may not work or show up in the Settings app as a preference page.

 I just spent the past day trying to figure out what went wrong and why jailbreak tweaks were installing in cydia but not showing in the settings (I already had the correct preferenceloader installed in cydia) or working at all. I couldn't find any solutions on the web but found a solution myself. Please follow these steps at your own risk (I don't think anything I've done is very risky but I am not a developer.

HOW TO FIX CYDIA TWEAKS NOT WORKING ON IOS 11

1. First of all download a good third-party file manager like Filza on your iDevice.Go to /library/ location.
2. There search for folder that will goes by /TweakInject/ name.
3. Rename it to TweakInject(1).
4. Now go back to /Library/ directory.
5. Edit it and tap on “Symbolic Link”
6. Go to /Library/Mobile Substrate/ directory. Select it.
7. Again go back to /Library/.
8. When new folder named /DynamicLibraries/ gets visible there, rename it to “TweakInject”.
9. Now generate SSH session using iTerminal app.
10. Add username as “root” and password as “alpine”
11. When you are connect to SSH Terminal, type the command (without commas) “Killall SpringBoard” followed by tapping on enter button

Hope this helps someone as I was stuck for so long! (I am not a dev and nothing near a dev so proceed with caution. However I do not believe anything risky is done through this process.). This may not work for everyone but worked for me! Good luck :)
