Unfortunately we have to inform you that the verification phase that precedes the distribution via FOTA have a problem with the firmware "JellyBean" for the Padfone, which forced us to withdraw the update and carry out a review before the final release. This will slide the date of actual availability. So the update will not be distributed by February 6 (as originally planned), but later, on a date yet to be confirmed, but no later than the first quarter of this year. We know that the news will displease those who already thought they could test the new firmware from here in a couple of days, and we apologize for the unexpected. Our priority is to provide the best user experience and this decision was not taken lightly. We strive to minimize the delay and release the firmware update for owners of Padfone in the shortest time possible. Thank you all for your patience and confidence.
「我們必須告知各位一個不幸的消息，在之前透過FOTA發布的Padfone 雷根糖(JellyBean) 韌體已被確認是有問題存在的，這問題迫使我們不得不把更新撤回，並在重新發布之前將該韌體重新檢視一遍，這問題也使得新版韌體實際發布時間往後延遲。也就是說原訂在2/6釋出的韌體將不會發布，正式發布的時間尚未確定，但最晚會在今年第一季結束前發布。我們知道這消息會讓期待在這一兩天使用到新版韌體的使用者感到不悅，對此我們深表歉意。我們的首要任務是提供最好的用戶體驗，也請各位相信這個決定是在我們審慎的思考之後所作出的。我們會努力讓新版Padfone韌體在最短時間內發布，謝謝大家的耐心和信心。」
許多功能有增強。但沒有測跑分。沒看高畫質影片，也沒玩遊戲。
