ok..lets give some FPS lesson..
Let me explain how do we uncap fps - simple! Just disable V-sync in msm framebuffer and DONE!.. For what V-Sync is for? To make screen run smoothly..not running too much but not being too slow.. to run middle and smooth way. How it works? Simple! It V-Sync stands for Vertical Syncronization, that means every frame is being syncronized with cpu/gpu.
- Why it won't be uncapped on JB?
- Cuz V-sync will be implemented in different way.called Projec tButterSmooth
- Fera, then why our screens don't flicker on fls uncap ha?
- Because our device has 2 ways of screen syncronization, both enabled by default - Hardware V-sync and Android V-sync. We disable Android V-sync in kernel.
- Damn..Why do we need HW V-Sync?
- Cuz without it we couldn't use out screen..It's hardware Limitation and our device can maximally refreash 60 times per second (60Hz), so maximal REAL Fps uncap can be 60FPS.. despire you get 70..or etc..on your benchmark..it's in system...But you can maximally see with your eyes only 60fps. it's HW limitation.
- What will be if we disable damned HW V-sync man?
- We get flickering chopping screen.. but benchmark could tell us that we get 90FPS.. that is true.. i did and experiment once.. and antutu gave me 92 fps.. but device was unusable..i hardly opened antutu 
- What if we disable HW V-sync and leave android V-sync enabled?
- Well..screen will be still flickering but on low 30fps..i tried all aff this stuff trust me..
- But Fera, Using both v-sync's isn't too much? Feels like it will be laggy man..smoothly but laggy..
- Yeah.. smooth but slow..you can observe it on clean stock SEMC rom..BUT! This is JellyBean rom and V-Sync will see another implementation as i said. I will get like ~45fps being Syncronized!.. this means smooth and fast at the same time! (1.5x faster than stock rom)
- What's the way of that new implementation? how it can be different?
- In JB v-sync is made by GPU not by cpu/gpu..so now cuz of hw rendering we don't need to wait cpu to analyse frames..it will be done automatically, and HWA speeds up all this stuff..providing direct access to GPU
- Dude I don't care about fps count..i just wanna use fast flying smoth rom..
