I have talked with a reviewer that used the XZ Premium yesterday to the Sony event in Lisbon. Finally, the lateral frame (the two lateral sections) are in PLASTIC (polycarbonate)...!!!
The back of Xperia XZ Premium is made from Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the display is made from Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and the frame from Nylon.

說 Sony 是手機機身設計的領導者絕不為過 , 看看上面張圖就知道 . 這是 Xperia XZ Premium 的一角 , 這一角有著多個組合點 , 機側的邊框 , 機底的邊框 , 機背玻璃及機面玻璃 . 4個貼入面 , 在生產工藝上這需要很高的技術 , 0.1mm的誤差已經很大影響 . 而大家可能不太容易察覺的就是今次的左右邊是塑膠 , Sony 為了令機身更加一體化 , 在塑膠上鍍上金屬色光塗層 , 所以完全看不出是塑膠 . 同時上下框就鋁合金物料 . 而 Sony 特別地把上下底的金屬物料變成了天線 .
