Actually I'm using "Tegraowners ICS ROM v11 - Note" with his own Kernel called "Thor 0.12".
The ROM's base is CM9, but it doesn't look like SIII - it looks like Android stock, without TouchWiz (Trebuchet-Launcher).
Best ROM I've found jet. It is not published on xda.
Actually I think you won't find any good ROM public on forums like xda.
Keep your eyes open and search for ROMs far away from xda.
Some ROM-Cookers will only cook a stable, fast ROM for themself.
Nothing really special? Haha maybe by the way it looks. Yes, it looks and feels a lot like CM9. I recently flashed and tried the Kernel and was impressed enough to go for the ROM. I feel like I have a 5000 mAh battery. I mean I am a heavy user (always either on WiFi or 3G connection - browsing, twitter, fb, instagram, down loading apps and stuff). Impressive battery life and I haven't tweaked anything yet. Just set the governor to lulzactive and was good to go. I have been on my battery for 7hours with a little over 2hours screen time and it has a 39% juice left. Using other roms and kernels my battery is usually dead by now. Plus it is smooth, stable, no lag whatsoever and no issues with apps so far. Of course I have been on it for less than a day. I am sure things will just improve after a few cycles. Good job thor!
