My new phone is HTC Butterfly..

Can I translate HTC Locations license to New Phone.??

Thank you for contacting us.
We transferred the licenses to your new device. You have to synchronize license keys on your new device with HTC Locations. Launch HTC Locations and press on main menu button -> “Get more” - > main menu button again -> “Sync license”. Afterwards, lock the GPS signal, search for an address and start a navigation.

我就自己跟ROUTE 66溝通的經驗說明一下

一開始我其實買了序號後只是突然想到問一下以後能不能轉到新的手機使用，結果跟HTC客服鬧得很不愉快，到最後htc的客服號稱主管的人出來跟我說如果我要轉，他們可以幫我轉一次，但是只限一次.....

我覺得很不合理，所以寫信去ROUTE 66詢問....得到以下答覆 :

Thank you for understanding and accepting the licensing conditions for the ROUTE 66 products.

The restriction indicated by the HTC agent does not exist in the general conditions for the license transfers and it does not apply for the HTC Locations licenses.

There is no limitation for the number of times that a license can be migrated from one device to another. In case you will encounter this issue with the HTC customer support or any other kind of issue regarding the license transfer, I kindly ask you to get back to us by e-mail and we will solve the problem for you.

The general conditions for the license transfers are the following:

- The new device has to be compatible with the navigation software (this means that it has to be an HTC device with the Locations software preinstalled).

- Both the old and the new phone have to be in your possession and functional in the moment of the transfer (in order to cancel the licenses from the old one and activate them on the new one).

- In case the old phone has been replaced under warranty, lost, stolen, additional documentation will be necessary (eg.: purchase proofs for the navigation software and/or the devices, replacement proof, etc.).

- If the device on which the navigation software is activated is sold before the license transfer, this operation will not be possible anymore

簡單說，轉移次數無上限，只要符合那幾項規定，寫信給ROUTE 66就可以搞定了

信件的內容是指他們沒辦法幫你轉換"pre-bundle"的使用權
也就是說

一開始DHD送的免費台灣導航是"贈品"
所以他們沒辦法幫你轉去新的手機
(大概是不願意吧，有那種贈品請勿轉讓的意味)

小弟自己是買了美國的導航
這個部份就route66就願意幫我轉換手機
但是台灣區的就沒轉到我的HTC J
