Hello all.
Thought I'd share my experience about this...
Ordered my iPad 2 online, (engraved and with serial number starting DL....). It did have prominent light leakage pretty much around most of the frame. I took it to an apple store, the guy checked it and agreed it was quite severe, so a replacement was ordered for me and arrived the very next day.
The replacement seems to be absolutely fine. I have checked it in a completely darkened room. I'm not sure the serial number is an indication of whether the light bleed is likely or not because the replacement also has a DL serial number.
Hope this is somehow helpful to someone.
DL 開頭的原本那台有漏光, 不過那位美國使用者在 Apple Store 換新(還是DL開頭)後似乎就沒有漏光了, 看來應該是個換 panel 的過渡期了. 希望公司貨(不過已到港^^)沒有這個問題, 不過有希望, 要不就晚點在入手了, 水貨就絕對有希望...
即使台灣開賣, 台灣蘋果會換新或更新屏幕嗎? 入手前稍微注意一下批號.
