當時不少科技部落格是這樣稱讚IGZO螢幕的優點：
"The benefits of IGZO are plenty: lower cost of manufacturing, up to 30x higher electron mobility than a-Si (amorphous silicon), increased aperture ratio for improved light transmittance, higher resolution in terms of ppi, etc. IGZO would allow for significant cost reductions compared to LTPS (Low Temperature Poly-Silicon) based high resolution LCDs like the rumored 9.7-inch 2048×1536 IPS LCD for the iPad 3."
所以去年底的時候，媒體認為IGZO的省電、光透性的特性，是比LTPS螢幕來的好 （更正：LTPS的省電比IGZO佳，但是生產成本更高昂。根據最後一個新聞來源）
當然啦，DisplayMate的顯示螢幕比較文章，讓iPad mini Retina display的低色域的缺點，完全的揭露在世人面前。其實那篇文章到底是用到a-Si 螢幕還是Sharp IGZO？有人知道嗎？文章中兩種螢幕都被批評比LTPS差。可是沒說清楚（或是我漏看）文章的測試iPad mini到底是採用Sharp IGZO 螢幕或是更鳥一點的a-Si 螢幕。
另外根據這篇上個月的文章， iPad Air用的便是 Sharp (or LG) IGZO display：

既然iPad Air的表現這麼好，那Sharp (or LG) IGZO的螢幕，如果用在iPad mini Retina 上，不是應該也要有同樣的好表現？
所以我想，其實現在因為7.9吋的IGZO面板，Sharp (or LG) 尚未足夠供應iPad mini Retina (iPMR)嗎？ 所以目前被發現顯示色域不太好的iPad mini Retina 是否其實是....a-Si 的螢幕？（by LG?) 還記得，上次iFixit拆解iPMR時，那部裡面就是...LG的螢幕，但是沒說明是否為a- Si 螢幕。
好，那我下個結論，也就是如前面其他版大說的，或許到明年後，Sharp IGZO iPMR 就會越來越多了嗎？ 而且色域表現會接近 iPad Air的？
省電、輕薄、好色彩一次都可以滿足嗎？ 是這樣嗎？ 有鑑於我這篇文章太多問號，不知道有沒有行內的大大來釐清一下小弟的疑惑呢。
