Detail of the update
The firmware update Ver.1.02 incorporates the following issues.
- Reduce "pinkish-colored band" which may be rarely found in the left side edge of image when the image is shot at ISO 400 or shot without flash on "NATURAL & FLASH MODE".
ファームウエア修正内容
バージョン1.02
このバージョンへの更新により、次のように改善されます。
・ ISO400での撮影時、および高感度2枚撮りのノンフラッシュ撮影時の画像において、まれに画像の左端に紫色のムラが発生する現象を軽減しました。
使用更新軔體步驟前請先充飽你的電池再做以下的更新步驟 (因為f100fd沒法插市電)

下載1.02 軔體 FPUPDATE.DAT
下載軔體更新軟體>>
OS是WIN XP/2000/98 的請下載 FPUpdata.exe
OS是Vista 的請下載 FPUpdataV.exe
OS是MAC 的請下載 FPUPDATETRF.dmg
請準備一張空白的記憶卡,最好是用相機format過的,並插入f100fd裡
(PS. 你可以直接將軔體FPUPDATE.DAT 用讀卡機 COPY到空白記憶卡的根目錄亦可,
或是依照以下官方建議方式COPY過去)

將軔體複製到記憶卡>>
•Windows PC users/Macintosh users
1. 請移除電腦上所有的USB裝置,除了滑鼠
Remove all the USB devices connected to the PC except for the mouse.
2. 電腦請使用USB傳輸線連線到F100fd (安裝前請確定之前可以用電腦辨識到f100fd)
Connect the camera to the PC.
* Refer to the FinePix F100fd Owner's Manual (p.126) for more information on connecting the camera.
As the software "FinePix Viewer" is activated automatically after connecting, this software must be stopped before the next procedure.
3. 請執行剛下載的 軔體更新軟體, 並點[Browse] 選擇剛下載的1.02版軔體 之後請按OK
Double-click the "FPUPDATETRF" file on desk top of your PC.
Click the [OK] button on the window.

4.出現如下圖請按[Exit]離開程式
Click the [Exit] button on the window.
5. 移除連接電腦跟f100fd的USB線
Cancel the DSC connection and disconnect the camera from the PC.
6. f100fd關機
Turn off the camera
已經完成軔體複制到記憶卡了
This completes the copying procedure of the firmware update to the media.

更新軔體: (請先確認f100fd是有充飽電且在關機的狀態之下)
1. 請先按住F100fd [back]鍵後再按 "開機鍵"
Turn the camera on while holding down the [BACK] button
螢幕會出現以下類似的軔體版本
請按 "OK" 鍵確定 (想取消更新請按[BACK]鍵)
*This screen appears regardless of whether the AC adapter is already connected or not.
When the screen shown above appears, press the [OK] button.
2. 是否更新軔體? Firmware Upgrade OK?
請選擇左方的 "OK" 再按 MENU/OK 鍵確定
Press the [left button] to select "OK".
(The screenshot above is an example for firmware upgrade from version 1.00 to version 1.10)
Press the [OK] button.
3. 警告標語(請勿在更新的過程中打開電池蓋或關機!!)
4. 警告標語畫面請按[OK]鍵 執行軔體更新隨即開始
Press the [OK] button.
The firmware updating is started.
更新過程大概20秒
It takes about 20 seconds for completing the firmware update.
5. 如果更新完成會再次顯示軔體版本,如下圖
When the screen shown above appears, the firmware update has been successfully completed.
6. 更新完成後可以按關機鈕,再次重新開機就可以使用新的軔體了
Turn the camera off
要檢查是否更新成功/檢查目前相機的軔體版本,可以依照步驟1的方式 來檢查你現在的軔體版本
