您在 Windows NT/2000/XP 之下安裝了賽門鐵克防毒程式，或是另一種安裝核心驅動程式的應用程式。安裝完成之後，電腦意外重新開機，或是出現藍色畫面，並顯示與下列訊息類似的 STOP 訊息： STOP 0x0000007f (0x00000008, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP 此種情況的常見架構為 Windows 2000 Server 將 Temninal Services 設為 Remote Administration 模式，並結合下列任一應用程式：Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 8.0、St. Bernard Open File Manager、Quota Manager、Legato RepliStor 或其它使用 Kernel Stack 註冊的「過濾器驅動程式」。
