CCIE已經大爆滿了, 全球總數突破20,000了
個人目前是CCIE, 已經7年沒加薪了.
網路本身是無法直接為公司帶來利潤(對大部分的企業),
除非你是電信公司的網管, 那麼網管人員才會值錢一點.
要考試先買一本TCP/IP的入門書, 先弄懂基本概念,
再來就找CCNA的考古題猛背吧!!!
現在的CCNA比10年前的CCIE難考多了.
CCIE只是一個牌子，花很多錢買來的塑膠牌
但是相較CCNA還是比較有價值
CCIE的價值在哪？不是那個號碼，而是在於你究竟會多少本事
CCNA可以去找dynamips + GN3 ＋IOS image，再買個好一點的PC就可以作很複雜的LAB
但是沒有基礎再好的模擬器也不會用
若你要走網路這條路，想要賺大錢，不要想呆在企業作網管，薪水一點點，還被凹死
走網路就要走電信公司，更好的往電信設備商發展那個薪水比在企業作網管多太多了
作個5年，有實力的年薪破百一點問題也沒有，更努力一點在電信設備供應商上班的年薪150以上比比皆是
但要領這個薪水，你要融會貫通，還要一直吸收新知識..

if you want apply Telecom & Data com equipment vendor, try to get all kinds of certificate as you can,but it will
be a huge investment,and you need to re-certificate every 2 or 3 years,in order keep your certification in active status.
Besides,increase your english ability in speaking and listening,reading is basic,you will be great while you finished all
kinds of certificate.
Once you get certificate,try to apply big company ex.Cisco,Huawei,ZTE, Alcatel-Lucent,Juniper...
or you may try service provide ex. CHT,Fareastone,China Telecom,China mobile
be sure to keep you core technology and learning new technology ex. UMTS/WCDMA/Wimax/LTE....
Juniper is Cisco's competitor in core business,it also provide certificate career path
