white paper 是舊文件, 印象中 5.0 ssd cache 可以設為 read-only or read-write 的

For certain models, SSD cache can be mounted to improve the performance of a storage space, such as a volume, iSCSI LUN (Block-Level), or iSCSI LUN (Regular Files) created on a volume. There are two types of SSD cache:
Read-only cache can be mounted in a RAID 0 configuration to improve the read speed of the storage space on which it's mounted.
Read-write cache* can be mounted in a RAID 1 configuration to improve the read and write speed of the storage space on which it's mounted. Please see the important notice below first.
Both types of SSD cache implement an LRU (Least Recently Used) algorithm to swap the data in the cache.
