小弟目前是I7 4790K+ASUS Z97-K+PLEXTOR M6V
想把M6V升級成M8PeG,但看到版上很多提到M2 PCle介面在較舊的主機板無法跑全速
我上網查這板子規格如下:
1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 mode, 灰色)
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (max at x4 mode, 黑色) *1
2 x PCIe 2.0 x1
2 x PCI
1 x M.2 Socket 3 for M Key, type 2260/2280 devices
目前PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16是插GTX1060
我是要買M8PeG插M2插槽,還是買M8PeY插PCIe插槽才能跑全速呢?
還是Z97-K這塊板子就是無法跑全速(接近2000讀取)呢?
Z97-K 網頁的部分規格資料:
1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M Key, type 2260/2280 storage devices support (both SATA & PCIE mode)*2
*1: The PCIe x1_1, PCIe x1_2 slots share bandwidth with PCIe x16_2. The PCIe x16_2 slot runs at x2 mode as default. Please check BIOS for more configuration.
*2: M.2 Socket 3 shares bandwidth with SATA6G_5 & SATA6G_6 ports.
說明書的部分:
Page ix: M.2 最高 10Gb/s, 所以應是 PCIe 2.0 x2, 網頁後面應該寫成 both SATA & PCIe x2 mode
Page 1-11: PCIe x16_1 永遠在 3.0/2.0 x16 mode, PCIe x16_2 最高速 2.0 x4
Page 2-34: 上面 *2 指的應該是 M.2 在 SATA mode 下, SATA 共用狀況 ... BIOS 可設定優先權
Page 2-38: PCIe x16_2 最高速可在 2.0 x4 mode 但與 PCIe x1_1 PCIe x1_2 共用時會在 x2 mode (如上*1)
所以 M8PeG (Read:2.5GB/s) 想要跑全速, 除非你不用獨立顯卡, 插在 PCIe x16_1 上面 ...
插在 PCIe x16_2 上只能跑 PCIe 2.0 x4 理論上只有 2GB/s 頻寬, 不過也算是幾近全速了 ...
插在 M.2 只能跑 PCIe 2.0 x2 只有 1GB/s 頻寬
