4K IOPS衝破127,000,Intel SSD 320 G3 120GB x 6 Raid 0 測試,附Intel SSD 320詳細規格及新增功能下載

一再延期的X25-M G3,以及Crucial RealSSD C400又遲遲未到貨,已經擾亂了我的升級計劃,直到今星期見到Intel G3正式出貨,唯有先入手Intel G3。

Intel G3已正式改名為Intel SSD 320,但包裝盒和G2並沒有大分別,甚至連所用的Controller也一樣,SSD型號結尾仍採用G3為Product Code。

測試環境:Intel Core i5 2400 on ASUS H67 SATA 6Gb/s Port

先來就是單隻Intel SSD 320 120GB的HD Tune Read測試,最高連續讀取速度為269MB/s







HD Tune Write測試,最高連續寫入速度為137MB/s









AS SSD Benchmark @ Microsoft Windows AHCI Driver,Windows內建的AHCI Driver效能偏低,4K讀/寫速度不及Intel RST AHCI Driver





AS SSD Benchmark @ Intel RST 10.1 AHCI Driver,4K讀/寫速度比Windows內建的AHCI Driver高出太約10%

測試到這裡大家可能已經發現了一個問題,就是拿Intel H67 On-Board Raid來接G3

120GB x 4 Raid 0時,H67的效能表現已顯得有點力不從心,當到了G3 120GB x 5

Raid 0時情況就更加明顯,已不能把G3 120GB x 5 Raid 0該有的效能完全釋放出來,

而且在超過700MB/s開始的高速讀寫時CPU的使用率亦越來越高,當讀取速度達1GB/s

時CPU的使用率更高達接近30%,但以On-Board Raid來說H67 PCH的整體表現仍是較上

一代的ICH10R來得好一點。

Intel H67上的G3 120GB x 6 Raid 0這部份的測試已完成,因受限於Intel H67 On-Board RAID晶片的限制,並未能完全釋放出120GB x 6 Raid 0該有的全部效能,但在4K-64Thrd多工模式下4K IOPS仍能衝破127,000,對On-Board RAID晶片來說已經不能再有什麼好挑剔的了

由以下Intel所公佈的數據來看,G3 80GB的寫入壽命由X25-M G2的7.5TB提高到10TB,約有33%升幅,而G3 120GB寫入壽命則由11.25TB提高到15TB,升幅同樣達33%,看來Intel在改善寫入算法方面下了不少功夫。
