小弟最想組新桌電，正在物色主機版，有鑑於PCIE SSD越來越普及，價格也變得親民，甚至跟SATA SSD差不多，例如:Intel 600P系列。未來應該會有更多PCIE SSD推出，價格一定也會更便宜，在差不多價格的情況下，似乎沒理由不選PCIE SSD。
小弟想先買一個PCIE SSD來當系統碟，等將來PCIE SSD更便宜時再添購新的來擴充儲存空間，但目前市售的主機板的PCIE或M.2插槽的數量都不多，顯卡至少就會佔去一個PCIE插槽，高階一點的板子插槽多，但也比較貴。請問有沒有PCIE或M.2插槽較多的中階主機板?

There are a total of four full length PCIe 3.0 slots. Due to the usage of a PLX chip on the Z170 WS it is able to run these slots at x8/x8/x8/x8. This arrangement allows for 4-Way CrossfireX or 4-Way SLI. There is also a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot between the second and third full length slot. Plenty of available PCIe slots for either consumer (GeForce/Radeon) or professional (Quadro/FirePro) GPU’s!

I think that PLX PEX8747 PCIe Bridge may be made in Taiwan.
There is nothing new about this. Motherboard MFG started this kind of stuffs long time ago.

華碩的面向伺服板子大都會這樣加晶片
增加通道數
還不只這一個板子會加
依稀記得幾年前有個伺服板子(忘記那張)也有加
可以讓PCIE匯流通道增加到x16/x16/x16/x16
好像是設計成外加主機板蓋板的
子公司華擎的一些高階板子也為了讓多顯卡能運作
在不少板子上也有加8747橋接晶片
缺點聽說是效能略低些
唯一不符合樓主的要求的
就是這板子不是「中階」主機板
中階.....意思是大約五千六千的板子吧......
跟樓主提醒一下
沒有中階板子會這樣「搞崗」加晶片擴充PCIE通道數
會這樣玩的只有高階板子
意思就是肯定破萬元的板子才會有
這張Z 170-WS就是(PC家賣一萬三)
