想請問各位前輩小弟己將主電腦從MAC OS 10.4換成10.5，但因有些東西需跑OS 10.4 ，因而計畫將隨機OS 10.4直接灌入外接碟的預留和本機一樣大小的預留空間中，但是發現除非指定本機硬碟，否則不給灌，不知是否是認機器的原因？
是不是只能用先將本機 OS 10.5 Clone到外接硬碟中， 接著再灌10.4，而再將10.4 clone到外硬碟，而後再將10.5 Clone回到主機，這個笨方法，還是能有其他方式呢？

以上是當我選1394外接硬碟與內部硬碟同大小的區塊已重新用 MAC 日誌式format過的硬碟所形成的錯誤message，而當我點主系統碟則可以
選安裝方式而可以往下，而我用新買的非隨機的10.5來嘗試安裝不論外接硬碟皆可安裝。
而小弟機型是 INTEL MACBOOK 2.0，不知是否因隨機安裝片只能裝到主機硬碟呢？

the retail installation disk will work anywhere.
if u want to run tiger, what u can do is, install tiger on ur mac first, then use disk utility make a copy of the os and past on to ur external HD then
reinstall os x 10.5, and when u want to run 10.4 just have to hold down the option key when boot up*with the external HD plug in* then u will be able to pick
