剛剛看了一下FCP universal版的需求規格

發現他竟然不支援intel 950 GMA的晶片...
那不就是說
mac mini和新的MB都無法使用了嗎

This is expected.
FCP is a professional level software. They do not expect you to run it on a Entry level machine.

不支援的意思是代表連安裝該軟體都不行呢？

還是說就算是可以安裝但是會跑的很辛苦？應該是前者吧？

這樣...前一代的Mac mini好像可以裝...只是很慢而已

基本上在ppc時代，pro appliacation都只會在pro級機器上執行（有個類似藉由辨識硬體來決定安不安裝的runtime之類的程式），不過卻是用軟體鎖（最明顯就是aperture的ppc硬體需求漏洞。），現在intel inside，可能還是一樣﹍

基本上用pro系列的使用者是不會想買入門機種的
就算裝起來執行效能也是.........不如不要裝

時間不應花在電腦螢幕前應該花在漂亮馬子身上.......

可以用啊. 2.0G Core Duo 效能與Dual 2.0G G5 Desktop with ATI Radeon 9600差不多, 互有勝負. 測試的軟體是Final Cut Pro 5.1, Compressor 2.1, Motion 2.1, 都是Universal Binary.

看了這個報告
intel mac還是可以跑fcp
真是搞不懂為何官網會寫不支援
可能這樣才可以讓大家的小朋友離家出走吧
