看了New iMac 27"我也是很動心, 打算年底買一台回家給老婆玩, 不過如果大家也像我考慮到iMac27" LED screen input功能, 打算把它拿來接PS3或其它HDMI device的話, 那可能還是先等等. 因為APPLE看來目前把 input功能寫的還蠻模糊的, 像是27" LCD有沒有 1:1 , aspect ratio這些規格好像都沒看到, 如何在原生2560x1440上顯示1080P, 目前還不知道APPLE打的是什麼算盤, 不過APPLE倒是寫著perform for HD TV. 所以我個人假設APPLE會以1:1的方式在27"上呈現 1080P.
另外一個原因建議暫時不要衝, 也是因為目前都祇有Mini Display port convert to HDMI/VGA/DVI的東西的確是有, 但是從HDMI/DVI/VGA轉成MINI Display Port的就還沒看到, 當然啦, Apple 現在搞個 iMac 27" 可以input的feature, 巿場上這類的converter cable需求一定會提高, 後勢這類產品必定會加速上巿, 所以到時候也要看看其他先覺測試的結果, 免得選錯cable, 忍不住又要換.
