One of the ways, is to have patience and give it a rest, some things catch up with time. However, if the issue persists even after a week of installation then, log out of your iCloud account and log in again. To do that, follow these steps:
1.Look for Apple icon located at the top left corner of the Menu Bar and click on it. 2.Click System Preferences from the drop-down menu. 3.Click iCloud. 4.Click Sign out. 5.Once you signed out of iCloud, sign back in and check. 6.If nothing happens, then delete clouddocs file to initiate a redownload of iCloud Drive files. To do so, follow these steps: Note: Take a backup before proceeding with the steps.
1.Click on your desktop to choose Finder. 2.Now press Shift + Command + G simultaneously to get Go To Finder window. 3.Look for CloudDocs and move it to the Trash bin. 4.You need to stop all the cloudd and bird processes from Activity Monitor, to begin with. 5.Launch Activity Monitor. 6.Look for Cloudd and select Cloudd process. 7.Click X button to close the Activity Monitor window and click Quit. 8.Now look for bird and bird process. 9.Click X button on Activity Monitor and click quit to exit. Note: this process is time taking and will consume a lot of internet data, so you need to be patient.
