just few points.
1. on new Macbook, you can upgrade HD whenever you feel like it. it is HUGE!!. in fact, with this "feature" i may not need to buy AppleCare. (a lot of Apple computer had dead HD. on the old Mac, change HD require some serious work. in addition, HD change so fast. 500G 7200rpm is coming out very soon, next year, fast SSD will be affordable. put one in anytime you like)
2. Unibody is cool. that make the old plastic trim looks outdated.
3. no latch.
4. unless you are gamers, 9400M has all the necessary power. PLUS it use newer 60nm techonlogy. (Old macbook Pro use 90nm on intel chipset and 80nm on graphic)
anyway, i think it's a lot like cars. Apple usually change their style every 5-6 years. If you get the new one now, you will be sure your notebook won't be out of style in the next 5 years. I will bet that after couple years, the old Macbook/pro will look even more outdated. (well, you can call the old one classic, that's another topic)
if you are going to get Macbook 2.4, forget about the student discount. buy from an online retailer who won't charge sales tax. plus, a lot of them even give rebate. on MacConnection, you can get 2.4G 1500 shipped. (plus free fusion, free bag(kinda ugly, though), free printer, etc)

It's a typo. 9600M is about 30% faster than 8600M. Some apps less, some apps more. Overall, about 30%. 9400M is about half the speed of 8600M.

那我實在不知道13跟15要怎麽比較
13看起來比較可愛
15看起來比較大台,
至於規格
如果你不是重度需要使用電腦的人
其實電腦只要跑得順,不就夠了
我自己最近也是在考慮要買新的mac book
不過我是拿mac book來跟sony比較
一樣是13寸
現在也不知道到底要買哪一台好
價格都是上千的,規格也不是很重要
反正從10年前開始用電腦后
也從來沒有需要電腦執行什麽
只是希望電腦跑得順,不會lag就可以了
而sony吸引人的地方就是有hdmi輸出
以後房間買電視就方便多了
畢竟筆記型電腦對我用處不大
