What do you mean by "bundle software?" List them out. Clean install w/o iLife and include 3 system languages plus HP printer drivers won't take you more than 6GB if I remember it correctly.

i installed whatever that was included in the default setting
which takes 16 gb

one more question
ive heard that the available hard disk space actually decreases due to downloaded web pages, temporary files, web history and stuff. there is a program which cleans and deletes useless files on Windows (i forgot what it's called)

how do i clean up the unnecessary files on a mac??
