i think it is slightly ahead of it's time. and i think it is NOT meant to ship in volumn. The target market is the same as Sony TZ.
many people attack on the price. however, when u compare with Sony TZ, MacBook Air is actually cheaper.
Sony TZ start from $2099 USD.
Apple MacBook Air $1799 USD. even add external SuperDrive, still $200 cheaper.
It is obvious that Steve Jobs like thin... from iMac, Powerbook, MacBook, and Macbook Air, every model is the thinnest (not necessary lightest) in it's category.
ya.. someone compare with EPC. i bet Macbook Air is also 5 times Faster, too.
