Ask for help . My Mac mini doesn't work with Dell SP2208 by DVI cable

As the title .
I ordered a new lcd (Dell SP2208 ) at last Fri . And got it at early today morning .
But when I want to connect it with my Mac mini ( G4 .1.42G ) buy DVI. The Lcd just display no single. and go to power saving ....


any comment for it ?
