那個不行，那是Thunderbolt傳遞“資料”專用的。

而且您用PC，
方法一：用Displayport輸出（不確定可行性）
直接買有Dislpayport的顯示卡或是主機板輸出有Displayport的（比較少），
直接接上Displayport(PC) to miniDisplayport連接線，
也許可以點亮，但不保證可行，因為手邊已經沒有這款機器可供實驗了。

方法二：
你的PC主機板上有Thunderbolt1或2輸出，
通常規格上有標明，
（或某主機板支援TB子卡，可以另購顯示卡輸出至子卡，再由子卡輸出TB訊號）
那你就直接接上Thunderbolt連接線，即可點亮。

方法三：
你的PC剛好是Mac mini Ｍacbook Pro Mac Pro，
請直接插Thunderbolt連接線點亮。

看你想用哪一種，但第一種可能性較低，我也沒辦法幫您試。

感謝大大查了一下第一種似乎無法

沒辦法用displayport -->thunderbolt

一定得用thunderbolt --> thunderbolt

如果thunderbolt3 --> thunderbolt1的轉接頭不能用看來就GG

還是有什麼遊戲桌機有thunderbolt 1 or 2 顯示輸出的..?

我想第一種可能性偏低，所以才提醒您不一定可行。
以前有看過displayport to thunderbolt 轉換器，
可是現在停產沒有了吧？而且那時定價很貴喔！

最簡單的方法是ASUS X99-DELUXE搭ASUS ThunderboltEX II
還可以搭自己選的顯示卡，轉接至ASUS ThunderboltEX II 輸出
再買一顆LGA 2011 v3 XEON，
工作遊戲兩相宜。

我本來想說可以買現成的遊戲桌機有thunderbolt輸出的就行

沒想到thunderbolt 3換接頭轉接器又不傳影像..orz

因為在這個時間點，買舊款電競桌機的話很多配件都不合時宜(標配sata ssd vs 自選m.2 ，標配gtx960 vs 自選gtx1060......)，那不如自己選，將來就算你的iMac不需要賣出後，還可以自己買螢幕，配件不夠用也可以擴充，不會像這代的Mac pro，apple給的規格到頂就是到頂了。

剛剛看到這個

又疑惑了

裡面說 mbp pro late 2016 可以用thunderbolt 3 to 2 轉接頭接thunderbolt display

或是其他有thunderbolt接頭的mac

雖然說這是mbp 代表這個轉接頭可以傳影像嗎?

如果用這mbp做bootcamp 是不是跟有thunderbolt 3的PC相同?

還是說我誤會了什麼 XD

我知道你覺得有可能，
只是期望越大，有時失望也越大。apple如果不給，通常也別想要。

首先apple有先表明這篇說明主要是給Ｍacbook Pro 2016以後用的，
所以如果你想買Ｍacbook Pro 2016 2017連接到你舊的iMac，
依說明內容可能是可行的（Data一定可以，Video不知道行不行）。
等待您嚐試看看囉！

此外提醒您國外網友抱怨過轉接器有時會失效，失效後再插上去Mac已經認不得它了。

但是除Apple Thunderbolt Display（之前網友測試是不行，可能MacOS或轉接器有改版，現在已經可認得video訊號）外，
並沒有列出其他可能。
主要其他內容都是在講data device或是跟其他Ｍac互連的Thunderbolt Bridge。
文章最後也表明此轉換器並不會輸出Displayport訊號。

主要是看到轉接頭可以支援thunderbolt display

才會覺得影像能通過因為要輸出到螢幕總不會是data吧XD

至於不能通過displayport那是確定的因為apple LED display就不支援這個轉接頭(吃DisplayPort)

但thunderbolt display和iMac事實上本來就不吃displayport格式只吃thunderbolt

真的是要試試看目前還找不到有可參考的案例 (PC用TB3輸出轉TB2到Thunderbolt Display or iMac)

iMac在2011前舊款是可以吃displayport的，因為接頭是miniDP。

只是我最近老了懶了比較少花精神在搞定這些相容性問題，三四年週期一到，先換Macbook pro ，再換iMac，舊的就出清了。
所以我連 Apple Thunderbolt Display也沒有留下來，不然就可以幫您交叉測試確認了。

如果你真的很想沿用iMac，
目前用PC桌機最簡單的方法，不用組裝，
買好一點電競主機（不含顯卡），
另外買顯示卡 MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X 11G（type-C）請店家裝上去，

它有一個顯示輸出街頭是type-C 的thunderbolt3，
