iPOD外接音響.各位建議需透過Universal Dock嗎?

目前小弟有部iPOD Video,平日會用3.5mm耳機線接續到擴大器聽音樂,
但是很明顯地音量跟音色都被衰減掉很多。(應該說本來就不是設計如此用途)

看過很多介紹Universa Dock的文章,但不太清楚這Dock是一個整合"搖控介面",
"充電器","耳機輸出"的底座,還是本身亦有前級擴大將"音源放大"的功能。

簡單來問,就是說iPOD坐在Dock之後再輸出到擴大器,與直接靠耳機孔轉AV端子,
音量部份兩者會有差異嗎?畢竟NT1800雖不貴亦不便宜,不太想花冤枉錢。

請有比較過的大大開示一下吧!

duck is using line out. after you connect to the duck, u will need to control volume from preamp or receiver.
On the speaker system designed for iPod, you can still control volume from iPod. the sound quality is better than headphone output.

I don't know how good is your speaker system. Most companies (like Denon, Pioneer, Sony, etc) has iPod duck which you can connect to their reciever. Some of them can even let you control iPod using receiver's remote control and on screen display. I think it may worth doing some research on what's available on the market before you buy Apple's own solution. I found Apple's duck is just average sound quality. Pretty good for system below $1000 USD, but left lots room for improvement for $1000 plus system.

Thanks for your explanation in detail, I had tried iDock few hours ago. It's sound quality is much more poor than expected, even worse than "directly connecting to earphone socket." All it can provide is the total solution for remote-control, and recharging. No more.

By the way, there are some JBL stereo models, any of them is much better than iDock, both in audio performance and stylish look.

3.5耳機孔是透過ipod內部的Amp出來的,而底下30pin connector則是單純的聲音源!
走上..則ipod可以控制音量
走下..則需外接喇叭amp控制音量

如果就單純音量大小聲來看"走上"會比較好!但是就一台音響的好壞不僅只有看音量S.P.L
還有失真/power noise/POP noise/喇叭中高音的處裡/頻率響應/音量控制的細微度..等等..

所以,一分錢一分貨是不變的道理!

如果以"失真"的角度來看"音質","失真"這種東西當然是"傳輸站"越少越好!

每個傳輸站(音響)裡面都會有顆放大器Amplfier，所以會有Total Harmonic Distortion/ Output Noise產生!

好一點的會有些DSP IC對這些傳輸過程損失減少或是彌補加強的功能~

所以很難去判定設備的好壞,還有..Apple原廠不見得好!(材料成本跟品牌不見得畫上等號),原廠是比較有保障是真的.

不好意思, 想請問一下, 假如我想要連接一代的 Nano 到電視上或是到音響上, 需要些什麼呢? 3.5mm 公轉公可以嘛? 那這樣是插到電視上面? 還是要插到音響上面, 老實說對方的配備我不是很熟, 只是在想說去之前先搞清楚所有的可能性.... 有沒有3.5mm 轉紅白訊號的?
