Bought these few old iPods from buy/sell sites in Hong Kong.
Very classic design.
Still working fine.
Love them.

- iPod Classic (5.5 Generation)
- iPod Classic (3rd Generation)
- iPod Nano (1st Generation)
- iPod Classic (2nd Generation)
- few iPod Mini (4GB) & (6GB) - mostly free of charge from friends: mostly with battery problem.

Among all, the 2nd Generation got the best sound output.

這些經典的舊iPods 都是從香港的網站買回來，有些iPod Mini是朋友免費送出的。

大部份機件仍然運作良好，祇是iPod Mini的電池不好，要插在電源或放在dock speaker 上聽歌。

Thanks for sharing.

Please take good care of these iPods.

Since they are still working, you can put them up for SALE.

Let others have the chance to own them as collectiables.

Sad to say just like iPod killed off MP3 players and CD.

iPhone/Android phones are killing iPods too.

Also every adults have smartphone and music are stored inside.

It is really redundent to carry iPods.

I used to see Students (with limited pocket $$) carry iPod and a feature Phone.

Now, students still carry 2 items...but 1 smartphone and 1 portable battery.

After all, technology is moving on everyday.

Nice!
You can make a killing if you put them on sale. Lots of people still want to collect them. And there are lots of workshops that can fix the battery problem. I got a ipod shuffle (1st gen) and it still works fine.

暫時不會放售，會好好享受音樂，摩摩機件的質感。

我第一件擁有的Apple 産品是一部20GB的 iPod U2 Special Edition，是2008年從Apple Online Store 以HK$580 買回來的翻修品，是黑色面殻，銀色底，紅色Dial，後面有U2 成員的簽名刻字。後來與一位網友交換了他的160GB iPod Classic，他將U2 iPod 寄送到美國作 iMod 。

現在的iPod Nano 音效真的不可以與舊版iPod 比！

而且也是插在 Duck 上面當床頭音響現役中...
不過我記得名字應該是叫 iPod Video....
沒記錯的話是第一台彩色顯示的 iPod...

螢幕好像沒有那麼大....
寬度應該是差不多....
不過高度沒那麼高....

Sad news.

Tried to erase and reformat the 3rd Gen iPod this afternoon.
First got EFI update error. Retried and was able to update software.
Now iPod stayed in DISK MODE.
Nil response to any button. I can hear the HDD is spinning inside.

Will try to rescue it tonight.

iPods 可愛之處，除了聽歌外，有時突發的問題，又令你去探究、解決！

After countless attempts to erasing, repairing, mounting/unmounting disk,
updating, restoring,
final round is to use another cable...

The 3rd Generation iPod is back to live again!
