高雄市為台灣南部最大的都會區，地理位置優越，同時擁有山海河景觀，且具備宜居城市所須的各項條件，和其他國際大都市相比絲毫不遜色。近年高雄市的發展愈發迅速，各項市政建設有目共睹，大型公園、演藝展覽場所陸續啟用，讓市民生活多了一分悠閒與氣質，屬於高雄市特有的"文化"正在成形，而當然，絕不能讓”音樂”在這個美麗的國際級都市中缺席！

As a megalopolis city of southern Taiwan, Kaohsiung is not merely located in great area but also has spectacular views of the mountains and ocean, equipping the every element of an International city, Kaohsiung is not inferior in any respect compared to others. It is obvious that Kaohsiung citizens’ lives are getting more comfortable and discerning because of many public facilities government had been building. The unique culture of Kaohsiung is forming in a good way. And also, “music” definitely plays a significant role in the forming of culture especially in this beautiful city.
Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra has been thriven to an unbelievable extent through lots of years’ cultivating and keeps making progress consistently. There is no difference of people’s status before the music and everyone has the right to be surrounded by it.
Here, we sincerely hope that any person who has enthusiasm toward music could help us to share KSO’s concert information.
