The FOMC forecast a slower pace of rate rises in 2015 and 2016. Instead of expecting interest rates of 1.25 to 1.5 per cent by the end of 2015, the FOMC now puts them between 1 and 1.25 per cent. Rather than rates at 2.75 to 3 per cent by the end of 2016, the Fed now expects 2.5 per cent. (原本預期2015年底達到1.25%至1.5%，但現在改預期1%至1.25% )
簡單講，明後年，只不過要開始引導美國利率恢復到正常水準而已…但，大家看聯合報是如何下標題的？
《Fed發出明年可能升息強烈訊號》
明明FED將明後年利率水準預期調降了，又暗示明年下半年可能會升息而已(有強調不會立刻升息)...哪來強烈升息訊號?
換言之，FED對明後年的經濟狀況變得比較沒那麼樂觀了
